The BUILD-A-SKLLL PROGRAM teaches Students the art of yo-yo play as a P.E. activity. Students can learn multiple basic yo-yo tricks in just one session.

Your school can enjoy this excellent program absolutely FREE OF CHARGE!   

Yo-yo pro, Jon Gates, World and National Spin-Top Champion will present the program consisting of an entertaining and educational assembly (approximately 1/2-hour), followed by hands-on instructional clinics in your P.E.  classes for the balance of the day.  

The NO FEE option  The school’s obligation is to provide for the sales of our yo-yos through the PTA,  School store or other venue and allow practice during recess periods for a minimum of one week.

Sales: Yo-yos are provided for the P.E. classes. It is not necessary for a student to buy anything. However, the yo-yos or spin tops of the type used in the classes  will be made available for purchase for five school days following the program. These fully guaranteed items sell for $6.00 for the standard model and $16.00 for the amazing, ball bearing model. Whoever handles the sales will receive $1.00  for each yo-yo sold. If the school wishes to reduce the price to students they may forego the $1.00 and we will reduce our prices to $5.00 and $15.00.

Practice at recess: Yo-yoing is a great recess activity. Safety and appropriate use are stressed in both the assembly and the class instructions. When students are given their own “Spinning Zone” to practice, problems are virtually eliminated.  Students enjoy building skills and teaching their classmates. 

The FEE option The program is also available without the sales and recess play for the regular price of $695 plus travel expenses or $450 for the assembly only.
